"No Way Out"

"No Way Out", ein Tonträger wie ein Hilferuf, der einfach in der Flut von Informationen untergeht, niemanden mehr berührt und nur noch Fragen aufwirft wie: „Wo ist denn hier der Ausgang bitte?“ ("There Is No Way Out"). Wir flehen nach ein bisschen selbstbestimmtem Leben ("A Little Bit of Life"), wollen uns einfach nur so ausleben, so wie wir es brauchen und wollen ("Being Different Is Beautiful"), ohne von einer Krise in die Andere zu stürzen (Happy And Sad"). No schlimmer wird es, wenn wir G7-Kinder der harten Wirklichkeit ins Auge sehen müssen ("But Everything Is Missing"). Und weil die sozialen Medien uns bereits bis ins Hirn hinein abtasten und auswerten, sollten wir diese Tools einfach abschalten ("Don't Insta Me"). Und damit wir diesen Teufelkreis durchbrechen, den Hintern hoch bekommen, sollten wir die Bar, aus der wir uns seit Dekaden nicht mehr wegbewegten, endlich einmal verlassen, ohne einen Absacker zu bestellen ("Ballad of A Nightfly").

“No Way Out,” a recording like a cry for help that simply gets lost in the flood of information, no longer touches anyone, and only raises questions such as: “Where is the exit, please?” (“There Is No Way Out”). We beg for a little bit of self-determination (“A Little Bit of Life”), we just want to live our lives the way we need and want to (“Being Different Is Beautiful”), without falling from one crisis into another (“Happy And Sad”). It gets worse when we G7 children have to face the harsh reality (“But Everything Is Missing”). And because social media already scans and evaluates us down to our very brains, we should just turn off these tools (“Don't Insta Me”). And in order to break this vicious circle and get off our butts, we should finally leave the bar we haven't moved from in decades without ordering a nightcap (“Ballad of A Nightfly”).
